The Indian wants the bronx

Indian Wants the Bronx is a play about two white New Yorker’s drunkenly stumbling and singing through the night when they happen upon a father from India who has travelled to visit his son in college. While trying to bridge the language barrier between them, the play takes us through the ways in which xenophobia leads to the satirisation, diminishiment and ultimately killing of the things we fear as foreign to us.

As part of the FEDA Festival in the Joburg Theatre, This play reached the finals for the published works and was awarded Best Actor.
